This was the first time we’d done an Edit Night and it proved to be interesting and engaging with more than enough shots to view and discuss.
It’s fair to say that some edits were deemed successful, some less so. Members agreed that it’s often hard to determine how much post processing to do and when to stop.
There was also a healthy debate on why we do any editing at all after capture in camera…..quite a minefield especially in this modern age of AI technology! And of course, post processing for wildlife images is quite a different animal (pardon the pun!) from other genres of photography.
Whatever your opinion on post processing, there were plenty of useful tips shared though on how to improve our images.
