Thursday 21 Sep 2023 = ‘My early experience with judges’– talk by Eddie Telford.

Thursday 5 Oct 2023 – ‘Costa Rica Adventure‘- talk by Zan Threlfall. Since moving to Scotland Zan discovered her passion for wildlife and now spends every spare moment pursuing that endeavour.

Thursday 19 Oct 2023 – Assignment – topic is ‘Red‘. Members discussion.

Thursday 2 Nov 2023 – ‘A Learning Curve’ – Zoom talk by Justin Minns. Over the last few years Justin has become increasingly absorbed in landscape photography. His presentation aims to pass along some of the things he has learnt during that time. 

Thursday 16 Nov 2023 – Interclub MAI competition with Musselburgh CC. Judge Gordon Rae.

Thursday 7 Dec 2023 – ‘Japanese Cityscapes – From Buddha to Bladerunner’ – Zoom talk by Julian Elliott.

Thursday 14 Dec 2023 – ‘Chairman’s Challenge’ – internal competition – topic is ‘At night‘.  Judge Dougie Allan.

Tuesday 16 Jan 2024 – AWAY – interclub MAI competition with Midlothian CC.

Thursday 18 Jan 2024 – ‘Sands of Time’ – Zoom talk by James Kerwin. Across 2019, James visited three ghost towns abandoned in the desert. In this talk, he shares the challenges he faced along the path to capturing beautiful shots.

Thursday 1 Feb 2024 – ‘NBPS Challenge’ – interclub MAI competition with Beeslack CC.  Judge Gordon Scott.

Thursday 15 Feb 2024 – Assignment – topic is ‘Lines’. Prints ONLY.  Members’ choice judging. 

Tuesday 20 Feb 2024 – AWAY – interclub MAI competition with Haddington CC.

Thursday 29 Feb 2024 – ‘Macro – Larger than Life’ – talk by club member Alastair White.
